Pandit Rishikesh Tiwari Ji comes to Sanatan Dharma Temple and Cultural Center of Maple Valley, WA, after serving for six years as principle priest at the Hindu Temple of Wisconsin, Milwaukee , WI. He served at the Sindhi Merchant Association Hindu Temple in Singapore from 2000-2002. During his tenure from 1991 to 2000 as one of the five priests at the Prachin Ram Mandir in Greater Delhi area, Pandit Tiwari Ji taught Sanskrit, Astrology, Palmistry, Pravachan, and bhajans. His numerous students are practicing experts in these fields.

Pandit Tiwari Ji's educational background includes Acharya (Master's Degree, 1st Division) in 2000 and Shastri (Graduate Degree, 1st Division) in 1991, both from Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi (UP). In addition, he attended 9-month long in residence special training at Hindu Heritage Pratistan, a Modi Foundation Institution in Meerut, India, in the fields of Samaskaras, Pooja, Shreemad Bhagwadgeeta, Upanishads, Astrology, Palmistry, Yoga, Aasanaas, Praanaayaama, and Meditation.

Pandit Tiwari Ji has intensive knowledge and ample experience in Yagnyacharya, Archaka, Karamkanda, Akhanda Ramayana paath, Durga pooja, traditional vedic wedding, arya vedic homam, Bhagwat Geeta, Chandi Yaag, house warming pooja, Satyanarayana Pooja, upanayanam, and more. He is also expert in South Indian rituals including Archana, abhishekam, and Vishnu Sahasranamam . With his fluency in Hindi, Sanskrit, Punjabi, Sindhi, English, and Nepali, he will be able to bring together diverse groups of our community.
