Shri Sanjay Shastri Ji, SDTCC Resident Priest:
Shri Sanjay Shastri ji has extensive knowledge and experience in performing all kinds of poojas and religious ceremonies in both Saivaite and Vaishnavaite traditions. He is experienced in performing poojas and other ceremonies such as marriages in both South Indian and North Indian traditions.
He arrived from New Delhi to join Sanatan Dharma Temple and Cultural Center (SDTCC), Maple Valley, in July2007 and is responsible for all religious activities, poojas inside the temple and outside in the community in Greater Seattle area.
His education includes Poormadhyama, Uttarmadhyama and Shastri from Ved Vidyalaya Gangakher in Prabhani, Maharashtra. He is a member of International Vedic Association; was involved in research in the area of Ved and Jyotish at Lal Bhahadur Shastri University, New Delhi; and co-authored a section of “Jyotish Shravan Granth” in 2004.
Before coming to the SDTCC, he has held head priest position at Sanatan Dharma Mandir in Greater Kailash, New Delhi, for 7 years. As a purohit, he is quite proficient in Karma Kand and has broad knowledge of Hindu Mythology, Astrology and Vedic Hindu rituals. His expertise includes performing Yagyopaveet, Marriages, Havan,Yagya Anushthan, Pooja-Path Rudra Abhishek, Sri Suktam, Pursh Suktam, Narayana Suktam, Mantra Pushpam, Dev Karam, Maha Mritunjaya, Shatchandi and and other vedic rituals; and giving discourses on Bhagwat Katha, Ramayana, and Geeta. Balagokulam Program
Balagokulam program is held on 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month and it is from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. Please note permanent change in timings.

If you are not a current member of Sanatan Dharma Temple and Cultural Center (SDTCC), please consider renewing it at the earliest. If you are not a member of SDTCC, please consider becoming a member. Membership in SDTCC is very critical to its progress and becomes more critical during the permit process and while we are dealing with King county and Washington state.
Donation Receipts and Tax Deduction:If you itemize in your annual tax return, all your donations to the SDTCC are tax deductible. All donation receipts have been issued throughout the year and were hand delivered or mailed to the individual.
